Deeper dives into the projects that shaped how I work — security programs, high-throughput infrastructure, and apps that actually shipped.

Cybersecurity Engineering

Enterprise Cybersecurity Program

Led 3–5 concurrent security projects worth up to Rp 1.7 Billion at a national payment network — owning architecture, vendor selection, budget, and CTO-level reporting.

The Challenge

A national payment network needed to mature its security posture across infrastructure, endpoints, and operations — under tight regulatory pressure and with multiple vendors in play. The portfolio spanned SIEM, endpoint protection, configuration assessment, and CIS hardening, each with its own stakeholders, budget, and delivery timeline.

The Approach

  1. Owned full project lifecycle end-to-end: architecture decisions, vendor evaluation, budget tracking, and weekly technical + financial reporting to Division Heads and CTO.
  2. Built a structured vendor selection process scoring technical fit, cost efficiency, and compliance requirements across multiple security providers.
  3. Coordinated cross-functional teams of 2–6 engineers per project, balancing day-to-day delivery with the strategic reporting cadence senior leadership needed.

The Impact

  • Deployed Splunk SIEM, FortiClient EMS, and Wazuh SCA across enterprise infrastructure and endpoints.
  • Executed CIS-based OS hardening on critical systems with structured reports for both technical teams and leadership.
  • Delivered consistent weekly executive reporting that translated technical assessment into business risk language.

High-Throughput Fraud Detection Pipeline

Designed and built an end-to-end fraud operations stack handling ~10K events/second, with a custom ISO 8583 parser sustaining 300MB/s of live payment traffic.

The Challenge

Fraud operations needed real-time visibility across QR, ATM, and CMS transaction channels — but existing tooling couldn't keep up with peak load, and ISO 8583 message parsing was the bottleneck causing intermittent data loss and integrity gaps.

The Approach

  1. Designed end-to-end technical architecture independently — owning solution decisions and reporting cadence to Team Lead and Manager.
  2. Engineered a custom ISO 8583 parser optimized for 300MB/s sustained I/O, eliminating the parsing-layer downtime that previously caused data loss.
  3. Built a Kafka + Elasticsearch + Splunk pipeline processing ~10,000 events/sec with real-time monitoring and reporting hooks.
  4. Shipped a custom case management UI tailored to the Fraud Detection team's daily workflow.

The Impact

  • Improved data integrity by 20% across financial transaction flows — directly lifting fraud detection accuracy.
  • Eliminated intermittent parsing downtime across QR, ATM, and CMS transaction channels.
  • Streamlined daily operational workflow for 11 fraud analysts on the team.
  • Mentored an intern through the project — assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and shipping production code.

PTPN Group Field Operations Apps

Built and deployed two production apps adopted nationally across PT Perkebunan Nusantara III — an SOP compliance tool for 1,000+ daily field users and a GIS mapping app deployed across the entire PTPN Group.

The Challenge

A national plantation conglomerate needed to bring SOP compliance and geographic operations data out of paper and spreadsheets — at scale, across multiple regional branches, with mobile-first workflows for staff in the field.

The Approach

  1. Designed and built a Flutter-based SOP compliance app from scratch — owning everything from interaction patterns to release.
  2. Built a separate GIS mapping application that surfaced plantation data and operational visibility across all branches.
  3. Drove organizational rollout — not just shipping the apps but making sure they actually landed in field staff hands.

The Impact

  • Flutter SOP app reached 1,000+ daily active users post-launch.
  • GIS mapping app was adopted across the entire PTPN Group nationwide.
  • Demonstrated full-cycle ownership: development → deployment → adoption.
